"Yantra" according to ancient Hindu texts means to be free from the cycle of birth and has been derived from two words "Yuj" and "trana". The word "yuj" refers to join, harness, bind, unify etc and the word "trana" means liberation from bondage. Another aspect suggests that Yantra is derived from the Sanskrit word "yam" meaning to hold the essence of an object or concept. The word "Yantra" also refers to being diligent, endeavour, manners, method etc. The origin of this word with many meanings can be dated to atleast 5000 years earlier from now.

It is then showered by Gola, Udbhava and Kunda flowers. The Yantra is the energized by reciting appropriate mantras while being worshipped and it is to be noted that this ritual of evoking the Goddess is to be done only during the night.

This particular Baglamukhi Yantra is used to overpower and dominate ones enemies. One uses this Yantra to gain victory over various things such as law suits, debates, competition and even in games. The worship of this Yantra and its residing goddess is done during a certain period when the alignment of the stars grants mars maximum power. The worship is carried out by wearing a yellow dress on a yellow asana decorated with yellow flowers and counting yellow beads.
The worship is carried out by drawing the Yantra with turmeric and juice of the Dhatura flowers. The Yantra can be engraved only on a copper plate and is also known to ward off evil spirits. It is also used to gain success in gambling, protection over accidents, success of operations etc.
This Yantra is usually worn around the neck and has to been embossed on copper, bronze, gold and silver. There is a special

All in all this Yantra is one that is used to attain success and is believed to be very powerful one. It is worn as a talisman during the day it is needed to bring success and on the other days it is placed on the altar at home. One needs to worship this Yantra and is done so by using yellow coloured beads, turmeric, yellow flowers etc as the colour yellow is auspicious to it.
