The idol of Edupayala Durga Bhavani Gudi contains unique natural stone formations. It is to be highly noted that the village name Edupayalu literally means "seven streams", as this shrine is located where the River named Manjeera splits into seven streams that later perfectly reunite at a different spot. The particular place is best known for its natural beauty plus unique formation of stones. This is also the spot from where the river Manjeera is divides into seven streams.
Ketaki Sangameshwara Swamy temple is popularly known as Gundam pooja that is conducted by the adherent devotees Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra and Telangana. This particular pooja is a way of paying homage to the Lord Shiva. According to the local legends, Ketaki flowers and holy water of Pushkarni are used for performing various kinds of religious poojas, yagnas, homams and other ritual activities. It is strongly believed that the Pushkarni consists of eight theerthas such as datha, indira, rudra, soma, varuna, dharma rushi and narayana.
The principal deity of this shrine is Lord Sri Bhadrakali Sametha Veerabhadra Swamy. Within the temple complex, there are sub-temples dedicated to Lord Shiva, Anjaneya Swamy and Ayyappa Swamy. The shrine opens at 5.00 AM and closes at 8.30 PM. It is to be highly remembered that priests of this temple is appointed from Jangama and Thambali castes who wholeheartedly serve the lord here. At this shrine, different types of Poojas and Sevas are performed to Goddess Bhadrakali Devi and Lord Veerabhadra Swamy.
