The other important festival of this shrine is Sapthami Puja conducted during the month of Aavani as per the Hindu religious Calendar that falls in the month of August-September as per the English Georgian calendar. In these particular festivals, devotees from the rest of the state also visit with great faith and devotion. All the festive, auspicious and religious days related to Lord Shiva are marked with special rites, rituals, prayers, poojas, yagnas and other religious activities and functions. The temple remains open from early morning to mid noon and later in the early evening hours to night for the devotees. The temple remains largely open for the whole day during festive days without a break. The queue system is maintained for crowd management at this shrine with trained staffs who are well-disciplined.
