At present, the idol in the deep cave has been removed in a successful manner and then was reconstructed at the current place. It is to be remembered that to reach this shrine, there are several fleets of steps from the base of the hill to the top. At the foot hills, there are many sacred water bodies. It is to be remembered that the public darshan for the Hindu devotees is permitted from only 8.30 a.m. to 10.30 a.m. and later again from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m and Sevas and Poojas are religiously held between 6 p.m. and 8 pm. It is to be highly noted that this temple remains closed between 12 p.m. and 4 p.m. plus after 8 p.m. The shrine is the best religious spot for conducting various types of special poojas, humoms, yagna and traditional and cultural functions and activities with a lot of perfection. The temple committee makes all kinds of arrangements and facilities for constructing religious rituals by the locals and Hindu devotees to a great extent.
The unique feature of Kurumurthi Rayadu temple is that it was perfectly built as per the South Indian temple architectural style and pattern. There is a huge well just at the foot of this hill that is largely considered as very sacred. It is believed strongly that a person who takes a bath with this holy water will be immediately cured from all types of serious diseases plus become much healthier. As Theertham, the well water of is also offered to the devotees and pilgrims. The walls and tower of this temple is rightly sculptured with images of Hindu Gods and Goddesses. The temple has specious courtyard within its premises for religious functions and activities. The interior and exterior patterns of this temple largely resemble the South Indian temple's unique features to a great extent.
Kurumurthi Rayadu temple conducts its annual temple festival in a religious and grand manner. All the major and minor Hindu festive days as per the Hindu religious calendar are marked with special Yagnas, homams and poojas and offerings performed in a traditional manner. Hindu devotees with family members, relatives and friends visit this particular temple on public holidays and Sundays. The Ekadashi days are given much importance in this temple. A crowd of devotees and pilgrims can be witnessed climbing with hard effort to the hill top on special occasions and events of Hindu celebrations and festive in a spiritual and religious manner.
