Jainath village derived its unique name because of this shrine located in this region. The priest of this temple is well-qualified and posses vast experience in Jain religious activities and functions with a lot of perfection. A large number of local people of Jainath village and its surrounding villages and town visit this particular temple during Hindu and Jain auspicious days and festive days with dedication and commitment. Prayer meetings are conducted in a religious manner. It is to be highly noted that this shrine is given much respect by the local people from centuries. It is patronage by them along with the royal family of the ancient and medieval period. It was slightly neglected during the British period because the village didn't have any human settlement for a long period. In the 19th century, the temple gained momentum with the support of the local people and its adherent devotees.

The platform is surrounded by the fleets of steps. It is built with red stone without any cement or clay material. It looks like a rock cut temple from all angles. The tower or gopuram of the main temple is very moderate in height. There are no sub-temples near the main Jain temple. It isn't a walled or fortified temple structure. It is open temple in the terrain surrounded by green fields. The interior of the temple makes the temple feel as very old and ancient Jain temple. On the other hand, the exterior of the temple looks like a medieval temple structure to a great extent.

During Karthika Sudda Astami to Bahula Saptami that falls in the month of October-November is largely celebrated in the nearby Laxmi Narayana Swami as he Laxmi Narayana Swami Bhra motsavam. This festivity also brings a large number of devotees and pilgrims to Jainath temple in this particular village.
