Sri Radha Krishna Temple is an important place for the Sri Krishna devotees. It is also the common God for the followers of Hinduism. Apart from Lord Krishna, this temple has deities of Prahaladha Narashima, Sri Venkateshwara and Balarama. Many devotees come here for Vedic learning and spiritualism classes conducted here. There are daily poojas conducted here with praise of Krishna-leela and devotional song sung live from here with vocal and musical instruments. To reach its main deity place one has to take 108 steps and chant Hare-Krishna and hare-Rama Mantras in once mind or verbally, which is considered to be a customs followed in all Krishna's temple. The 108 steps are really holy for the Hindu's as per the Vedic principals.
Janmashtami is the important festival followed by Balaram Jayanti, Narasimha Jayanti and Sri Radhashtami, since these are the main deities of this temple. These festivals are celebrated with special poojas. The Deepotsava and Ratha Yatra are conducted here annually, which is witnessed by thousands of devotees.
Since ancient time, there were the idols of Sri Krishna and his brother Balarama near a pond in the Hare Krishna hills. These idols were worshiped by its local peoples and this pond was named Kalyani. In 1977 these idols were shifted to this newly built temple by the Sri Krishna devotees sang. The Kalyani pond is left as its ancient site and is maintained by this temple authority.
Sri Radha Krishna Temple is built over a small hill top of Hare Krishna hills. It is a blend of Hindu architecture with modern glass coverings. There are six gopuras (Obelisk Towers) built here. First one can be found on the entrance. The second one on the middle portion and the four main gopuras are in the main temples. These gopuras have cute miniature works and filled with lot of motifs. The main four gopuras are covered with blue colored glasses in a step pyramid shape. It is also having a bulged dome in the centre. It has 3 temples totally. From the entrance gate the 1st temple is built here for Lord Srinivasa. The second temple is for the lord Prahaladha Narashima and the main deity is placed in the main gopura areas where Sri Radha Krishna and Balarama are found. The entrance to the main temples is having the welcoming sculptors of Jaya and Vijaya; these are commonly found in the Hindu temples. The Krishna and Balarma statue is made of pure gold and also its temple flag pole is covered with gold, which is a 17 meter in height. There is lot of craftsmanship seen here in this ultramodern structure. There are uniquely carved pillars and mandapas built inside this temple. There are fine murals on the walls and in the central ceiling of this temple; these are depicting the beautiful arts on Sri Krishna-Lela's. Due to centrally cover with glass, this temple looks cool from inside. A vast hall is there for mass prayers in the main temple. The ancient pond named Kalyani is also located adjacent to this temple.
