The Hanuman Tok is situated about 5km away from the White Hall and is one amongst the most famous temples of Sikkim. Hanuman Tok Temple Mythology & History

The temple took good shape in the year 1950's when a political officer named Appaji had a dream about the temple and it was then that an idol of Lord Hanuman was erected here.

Today around 17 Mountain Division units of the Army take charge of maintaining the area of the temple. Just before you climb the stairs of the temple you shall find cremation ground of the Namgyal Royal Family of Sikkim, which is also one of the attractions of Sikkim.
