The Baba Harbhajan Singh Memorial was built in the memory of the Late Harbhajan Singh who was a brave Sepoy in the Pujab Regiment. He was born in a village called Browndal which is in the Kapurthala district of Punjab. He became a soldier in the Indian army at a very young age and his posting was done on the Indian-Sino border, which is near the Nathula Pass.



The Ganesh Tok temple comes to life during the celebrations of one of the most awaited festivals of the country, the Ganesh Chakravarthy. It is during this festival that a special statue of Lord Ganesh is been established at the temple. People of the Hindu religion visit the Ganesh Tok temple during this time as they believe that through prayers to Lord Ganesh prosperity, Wealth and blessings for good health will come into their homes. It is after ten days of establishment of the statue at the Ganesh Tok temple, the second part of the festival takes place which is known as the Ganesh Visarjan.



It is also believed by the believers of the Hindu religion that the Hanuman Tok temple is a wish fulfilling temple as it is said that at least one genuine wish prayed at this very temple shall be granted. The temple is considered to be one of the oldest temples of Sikkim as it was constructed in the year 1935. Today the temple stands tall on the land which was donated by Sir Thutop Namgyal who was once the King of Sikkim. The temple is considered to be a very holy and pious place as there are idols and images of many Gods and Goddesses of Hindu religion here. And so the temple becomes even more pious as there are idols of not one but many Gods and Goddesses.
