Surendrapuri Theme Park is a place of sculptural marvels. It is scattered in a vast area, which takes 3 to 4 hours to look around completely. The primary material in all structures is the Granite Stones with the combination of Lime stones, Quartz and Telcose rocks. The life size idols are carved in a single large rock. Its sculptures and Idols are built in life size and resemble the Hindu Gods and Goddesses, which are colored and looks very holy. Many of the Hindu temple replicas are built here. The Lord Shiva replica is uniquely carved, designed and colored in such a way that you are in the top of Himalayas and can feel heavenly to look these splendid archetuctural works. It followed the Hindu Vedas in its creation. These sculptural marvels were crafted by skilled artisans of the present time. It took a decade to build this Mythological Park in Surendrapuri.
Surendrapuri Theme Park was built in the memory of Surendra, the son of its founder Mr. Kunda Satyanarayana. He was not a scholar or an artisan. After his retirement he wanted to do some creations and thus give birth to the present Mythological Museum. It was not planned and worked out; since there were many skilled artisans and workers involved over a decade of time to build it. He followed the Ramayana and Mahabharata epics and built those important eccentric in paintings and on sculptures. You can have a holy visit at one place of the Hindu temples. It reflects the craftsmanship of the present era to build those ancient mythic in their life size structures. If you enter in you will be lost in mythology. The craftsmanship and its creations are no were found in the rest of the world. This is an incredible place to visit.
Surendrapuri Theme Park is a tourist place of mythological attraction. Its craftsmanship is breath taking works. It is looking as realistic and colorful as it may be in the ancient times. Next time you are in Hyderabad, you must visit this Mythical Park. It is open to public with a fee of Rs.300 for Adults and Rs.250 for age group 5-10 years and no charges for children's below 5 years. Best season to come here is from August to February. Here peoples of any religions can visit. Only conditions is that you have to remove your foot wears while entering in to a temple. There are budget lodges found here. There is no guide requirement here since; all depictions are marked in English and Telegu languages.
