Raichur Fort is enclosed by dual rows of huge low circuit walls on three sides. It was constructed on 88 meter tall hillside. The inner wall of the fort is created by large stone made blocks which are joined together without any strengthening material. The outer wall of the fort is created by reasonably coarse stone masonry. Raichur Fort demonstrates the Muslim architecture, having captions written in Arabic and Persian languages in mainstays and entryways.
Jaladurga Fort has magnificent view due to its special place at the top of a hill. There is a bridge which links the Island of Krishna River with the central of Jaladurga Fort. It was tactically created in order to exploit the locational benefits. The river along with the mountain makes it challenging for any person to approach to the fort without being detected. By itself, Jaladurga Fort is positioned at an ideal location. Nevertheless, at present, Jaladurga Fort is in ruined shape.
Malliabad Fort is regarded as an ancient monument where both history and natural beauty meets together. Several prehistoric structures which belong to Vijayanagar era exist around the fort. The royal fort is a fine specimen of Chalukyan Art. There are two life sized six feet tall elephant statues in Malliabad Fort which is engraved in white granite. It is the core attraction of Malliabad Fort. Apart from that there is one stoned elephant statues with two calves.
Mudgal Fort was tactically created at the top of hill where the rocky layers paved for the creation of royal houses. The external ramparts of Mudgal Fort encompass an area of about a half square mile. In the outer side of the fort, there is an extensive channel which is occupied with water. The breadth of the channel differs according to several places of the fort. Behind the channel, there is a brawl with a row of mainstays.
