Paigah Tombs Architecture

Paigah Tombs is full of white marble works. It is a skilful work of Indo Islamic architecture. Its beauty is unparalleled with any other structures of its kind. Paigah Tombs History

Paigah Tombs were built in the year 1787 in Hyderabad for its royal Paigahs family. These Paighas were much richer and owned vast lands in the Deccan Plateau. The Nizam rulers also tie up with this family by marring their clans and later become the Nizamis of Hyderabad. The first tomb were built for Nawab Taig Jung Bahadur and later it became permanent the burial place for Paigah family members. This showed their richness and culture towards Islam. Altogether it is a well planned family mausoleum to the Nizami Nawabs on an adorable garden place. It is a white marble marvel is spread over 40 acres of land premises. This dynasty descendant's still living in various Mahals of Hyderabad.
