The palace which is being designed on the Rajasthani style of architecture is one of the most beautiful structures in India. It depicts the true picture of the Rajputana life style and culture and how grand there life was. The convoluted pillars within the fort shows the master class of its design. Notably, within the fort there is an Arcades which are used to keep the artifacts of the royal family. The interior of the house has extensive use of wood especially in the walls. The wooden carvings within the wall are used for putting the paintings relevant to the Raja and their royal stay in the fort. The resort which exist in the present day context also filled with royal facilities which are quite rarely seen in other structure of India. It is also known that the palace is decorated with arches and finely wooden carved ceilings. It is also used in the present day scenario for meetings and conferences. As said this particular monument has a history of more than 8 centuries. With consistence renovation over the years, the oldest part of the monument is just 80 years old. Being establishes in an area of 52.8 square kilometers, the fort is one of the biggest in the Indian history. The fort also served as the residence for the Kuthar royal family. Born in the year 1949, the Rana of the Kuthar family ruled over the Kuthar Fort for many years. His children and wife Sahiba Nirmala Devi and Anwar Chattar Singh also stayed for quite a considerable period of time in the monument. However, the founder of the Kuthar region was Rana Surat Chand in the 17th century. The Rana had a military strength of more than 40 infantry to deal with the enemy. There are holy temples within the fort which are still being used by the people of the Kuthar region. In the present day context, the palace is being used as a royal resort. From each and every remains of the fort, the royal lifestyle of the raja can be witnessed.
