The monument i.e. Kamaraj Memorial House is located in the southern part of the Chennai, Tamil Nadu. It has been constructed with regard to pay tribute to the former chief minister of the state of Tamil Nadu. Shri, Kamaraj led the state effectively towards maximum development in various sector amid his three time servings as the chief minister.

The Memorial House which was established in the year 1978 during the administrative reign of the than leader of the state of Tamil Nadu i.e. M. G. Ramchandaran. Since then the house is open for public display.
