The fort Barabati, is found with the square table and the fort has been extended to the total area of 102 acres and the entire of the fort has been surrounded or bordered by the stone paved moat, and this can be found on all the side of the fort. The construction of the moat around the fort comprises that of 10 meters to the northern and to that of the western side and to the eastern and the southern side is 20 meters.

Netaji Birth Palace was in Janakinath Bhawan in the Orissa State. This large Bhawan was his ancestral place. This is a two storied structure in L shape facing west to east wards with ample space and gardens. A beautiful family temple is built on the east front of his Bhavan for worship purpose. Towards the east there, are cattle house built separately, which consisted the cows and horses. It has an open courtyard in the northern side of this Bhavan. There are very spacious rooms and halls inside this Bhavan.
