The fort of Gohad was a solid piece of architecture. Lime stones, rocks and bricks are chief materials needed in the erection of this huge monument. The fort represents the shape of a circle, which is based alongside the banks of the river of Vaisli. However, due to the increase in the flow of water of the Vaisli River the fort had changed its shape from circular to semi-circular. The entrance of this massive structure consists of a total of 11 gates. All of these gates were related with the names of villages and the direction in which they were located.
