Allahabad Fort is a unique specimen of primitive Indian architecture and artistry. It boasts massive walls and three entryways, lined by tall watch towers. The splendid exterior wall of the fort ascends over the water's edge. The exterior wall of the fort is still in good condition and can be observed from Yamuna riverbed. Inside the Allahabad Fort, the most captivating and attractive structure is 'Ashoka Pillar' which was developed by the command of great Mauryan emperor.
