Taragarh Fort is exclusively built up on the Rajput architectural form. This is a massive fortification, constructed with the locally available sandstones and the granite stone from the Aravali Mountains. It is constructed on the peak of the Taragarh Hill. This fortress has three huge main gates. Presently the Laxhmi Pol is the only standing gate. The Phuta Darwaza is half destroyed by the British and the Gagudi ki Phatak is in ruin stage. Its ramparts run across a (3 Km) area in a circular form on the citadel mount.
