Kite festival has always been popular in every aged of people, in this everyone trying hard to fly their colourful, vivid and dazzling kites in the sky. The sky that day is covered with hundreds and hundreds of kites dissimilar in colours, shapes and sizes. The crowd shouts 'Wo Kata' and hundreds of kites are cut down by each other in the competition to fly up their kite to reach the sun. The people from all over the world participate in this completion. Every year a message is delivered to the common people in the form of Kites, which depicts a social message to the world. The main kite completion is held in the local stadium where all the skilled competitors fight hard to retain in the game as well fly highest as hundreds of kites are cut down by each other in the competition. The glory of the day is maintained not only in the day time but also at night when the light is added to kites in the form of flowing lanterns (Tukuls) which lights the sky.
