Obsidian-Black is a stone with a shiny, glassy texture that is formed when volcanic lave comes in contact with water. The lava cools down so quickly that it does not allow time for the stone to crystallize hence forming in the shiny textured stone. Along with black this stone is also found in other colours like light brown, brown mottled with black, black with golden or silvery sheer, dotted with white etc, but its primary colour is black. It was one of the most important items of barter in the ancient days and can also be converted into razor a sharp edge which is used for making the tip of bows and arrows.
