Clinohumite belongs to Humite group of minerals which is known for having a mixture of silicate and oxide in their structures. These gemstones are generally dark to light brownish or orangy yellow in colour. Crystals are small, usually granular but may also be prismatic. The crystals are very brittle and their transparency ranges from transparent to translucent and even opaque. The name Clinohumite is related to its monoclinic structures.
